Butter Kisses
Ingredients
225g pure butter
75g pure icing sugar
1/3 cup milk
3 cups plain flour
2 tsp baking powder
Extra icing sugar and water to make icing
Natural Food Colouring of choice
Method
Preheat oven to 190°C. Grease 2 baking trays and line with baking paper.
Cream butter and sugar together in a bowl. Add milk and beat well.
Add sifted dry ingredients and mix well.
Place tablespoonfuls of mixture onto baking trays and bake for
15 minutes or until golden.
When cold, sandwich two together with plain icing. This can be left
white or coloured using a Natural Food Colouring.
